Today, Vimeo goes public

Today, Vimeo spins out from IAC and begins trading independently on Nasdaq under the ticker VMEO.

I'm absolutely delighted to have grown with this company from a tight-knit group of passionate people — building a platform we all believed in — to standing here today as Vimeo takes its place on the Nasdaq. It's been an incredible journey to be part of, and we're stepping into an exciting new phase as a public company.

With the current travel restrictions in place due to the global pandemic, I'm not able to be at Nasdaq in person to ring the opening bell. The team made sure I'm still part of the milestone — they put my picture up on the Nasdaq tower in Times Square so that, in some small way, I'm there for the moment.
